Take action on the Safe Skies Act – write Congress today!

Following the reintroduction of the Safe Skies Act, hundreds of ALPA pilots and citizens have written Congress to ask their representative to support one level of safety in our skies.

Current fatigue rules set by the FAA create two different standards for cargo and passenger pilots, exempting cargo carriers from complying with the latest and safest science-based fatigue rules.  All airline pilots deserve a standard level of safety and should be treated equally when it comes to fatigue. If passed, the Safe Skies Act of 2013 will ensure that both passenger and all-cargo pilots are equally protected from this serious safety threat to all who depend on air transportation.

ALPA pilots, their families, their friends, and concerned passengers everywhere can visit our website to use POPVOX to write their representative today.  Click here to send your message to Congress and advance aviation safety!

(ALPA members preferring to use our tradition call to action system can log in and write Congress here)
