About

ALPA’s Government Affairs team is working every day to protect the interests, future, and livelihood of professional pilots by advancing a pilot partisan agenda in Washington, DC and Ottawa.  We work to advance policies and regulations that will support the security and growth of the piloting profession.  Our work is driven by the active engagement of our pilot groups and the grassroots activism of ALPA pilots in the U.S. and Canada.

The Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA) is the largest airline pilot union in the world and represents over 50,000 pilots at 32 U.S. and Canadian airlines. Founded in 1931, the Association is chartered by the AFL-CIO and the Canadian Labour Congress. Known internationally as US-ALPA, it is a member of the International Federation of Air Line Pilot Associations.
